I've done something similar before where I sped up videos that were already timelapse videos and that worked fine but not this time.

What I'm trying to do at the moment is compile a bunch of 8 ish minute videos that I forgot to record in timelapse and speed them up so they appear to be a timelapse video. These minor edits that I do are still only a handful of times a year. A friend recommended lightworks a while back because of it's capabilities for a free tool and I've been using it ever since because I am usually just trimming stuff and maybe removing sections of videos that are maybe 5 minutes long. I need to preface this with the fact that I know next to nothing about video editing (closer to nothing than next to nothing probably).
